Calgary is, without a doubt, the best city, in the best province, in the best country in the WORLD! I am proud to call this vibrant city home. We have just about the hottest economy on earth right now, making it the place to call home for just about 97 new residents a week. There are a surplus of vacancies in our labour market - we just can't seem to find enough people to fill these jobs! Help wanted signs are everywhere, and anyone that wants to be working can find employment at great wages with extended benefits.
If you don't currently live here - WHY NOT? Though winter is a long season, we are blessed with Chinooks, a warm wind that blows over the Rockies Mountains several times a season, a time you can find us outside in tee-shirts enjoying the extensive parks and trails that bank the mighty Bow River, an added benefit that enhances our city so much. We have fantastic schools all over our city, including The University of Calgary, Mount Royal College, and Bow Valley College. Being so close to the mountains we have exceptional recreational advantages such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and just enjoying the panoramic view that surround us.
